Storyboarding (AFI's Lights, Camera, Education!)

A storyboard is a blueprint -- a visual map illustrating how the picture is to appear on screen. In this segment from AFI ScreenNation's excellent series on video production, the narrators present the case that a storyboard saves time and resources by getting everyone "on the same page" before shooting begins.
